I would like to ask you if there is a Forward Auction in SRM7 Live Auction

A forward auction as in a seperate default transaction type is not contained within standard. F.e. the 'Reverse auction' default transaction type can be used to set-up your specific version of a 'forward auction transaction type'. Reverse auction should be prety similar to your expectations of a forward auction?

Default transaction types contained:

AUC1 - English Auction

AUC2 - Rank Only

AUC3 - Sealed Bidding

AUC4 - Company Bid

AUC5 - Dutch Auction (new!!)

Thanks for your answer,

As I understand you say that with one of the 5 Default transaction types

(AUC1-AUC5) I can create a Forward Auction (auction for sell things).

Is it a customize thing?

I work with SRM5. In Live Auction if a bidder makes a mistake and gives to low offer he can not correct it and increase his offer. Is it the same in SRM 7.

Forward auction is available in e-sourcing component of SAP

SRM supports only reverse auction.

Forward auction is supported(as mentioned above) by e-Sourcing.
