Track Connection on the Netweaver 6.40 (2004)

Hi all,

I have a current scenario and I would like to know it is possible:

I have a track X with Software Component SC1 where I've developed the custom master data. The apllication of the master data will be used in the future in others developments.

I've created a other track Y with software component SC2 where i developed a custom application, and i added the SC1 in this track through the "track connection".

but it's not working on the NW 6.40, this scenario is possible?

I don't add master data applications on the SC2, because in the future I will be using the master data in another projects and I'll need to reuse it.

Hi Ivo,

yes it is possible...But what is the issue now.

Do you want to you application in another track..If so, then you need to add your application in this track.

I (re-)approved the activitie, but don't appears in the Track Y.

I've read the tutorial sap to configure the track connection, but I have no success to do it. someone has a step by step how to configure the track connection?

SC1 will only become available for import in track Y after you've (re-)approved it in track X.
