SRM 7.0 Process controlled workflow - Inquire and Recall features

Dear forum members,

Does anyone know or tell me where I can find a document telling me which SRM object types support the inquire and recall features in the new process-controlled workflow?

I know both are available for SC, but what about PO, Conf, Inv, Contract, Rfx, Rfx response?

I know they won't work for all business objects as I tried setting up the invoice workflow and there is an error message shown when trying to use 'item-based decision for entire document' for invoices.

Hi,

Inquire option is in Completion Task. If you find completion tasks in PFTC transaction. There is no completion task for following object. I think recall works for all objects.

No Completion Task:

+ Contract

+ Supplier Quotation

+ Confirmation

+ Invoice

Completion Task:

+ Shopping Cart, TS40007952

+ RFx, TS40107917

+ PO, TS40007973

For Decision type restriction, please look at program Program: SAPSRM/LWF_P_CFGF01, FORM DS_TYPE_CHECK.

Thanks Masa,

I have allocated you some points for this.

There is a bit of a discrepancy in SRM 7.0 - it seems contract approval allows decision type 2 but there is not completion workflow, and RFX does not allow decision type 2, but has a completion workflow. Am I right in thinking this is contradictory? I thought decision type 2 was for the completion step....

Hi,

No. Level Type (Completion, Approval) and Decision Type (1,2,3,4) are different.

Level Type is for editable or non-editable..

Decision Type is for header level approval or Item level approval.

For your case, item level approval does not fit for Invoice. Invoice should be header level approval.

Please check Workflow Guide in the SRM 6.0 folder.
