Can we create a business system from SAP system instead of SLD

Hi All,

I wanted to create a business system in SAP ( say SAP ECC ) and then publish it to the SLD so that i do not make any mistake while specifying the IP/System number etc in SLD.

Is this possible and if YES how ?

Also Take the help of BASIS Team.

After configuring Technical System, you will find all the required information in Technical System, while creating BS in That Technical System in SLD.

Hi Tarang,

U have to creat bussiness system in SLD Only not SAP R/3.But u have to Run T.code RZ70 in SAP R/3.Once u run the this transction automatically technical system details are crated in SAP PI system.Then u have to create sap Busssiness system in PI as web as ABAP.

Hi Tarang,

Technical system can also be created using tcode RZ70, but for creating business system SLD is the only source.
