Patch Impact Analysis using Solution Manager

HI All,

Before applying any patch in our ECC server we can anayse the impact of that patch in Solution Manager. So we can get the idea about which business process will affect after applying patch.

Can any one help me how to do this king of patch analysis in Solution Manager? any configuration is require for that?

Hi Nisit,

Just go through the relevant SAPNOTES / Guides for identifying the side effects on implementation.

For EHPs you can start a new Maintenance Optimizer Transaction and select required Technical Usages.

At the last phase of Mopz transaction system will display the side effects of all the components.
