Hello all,
I would like to have some user grouping mechanism here on SDN. I am not a big fan of this Web 2.0 buzz, but some features can be useful. I have found the grouping mechanism on Linkedin but with very little value for me, my work and my career. But here, on SDN, it would be so cool to have such a feature. For example:
1) post less formal blogs (for example) to the group members only
2) group discussions in private
3) people could get a closer relations very much connected with their jobs
4) group emails - I don´t offer any job, but sometimes it would be cool to tell something to the people that are close to me
5) group moderators/ leader/ teachers
etc. etc.
I would like to hear all opinions, pros and cons, and if it would be possible to talk about such a feature with anybody interested or responsible. Thank you all, Otto
The mail id,contact numbers of the member is already highlighted in the profile( if the member is interested ),
So i dont think grouping is needed, you can also add the members to your favourite list, so that any time you can access their contact details and keep in touch with them.
if its more feasible than the existing options then it grouping will be good.
