RFC BAPI

Former Member

Hello All,

I want to call a bapi within SAP but I am having troubles with setting the RFC destination. When I do a trace the RFC destination expects an IDOC te be received, instead of a bapi call. Is there a good blog or something which explains the process?

Best regards,

Guido Koopmann

I want to call a bapi within SAP

This statement can be taken both ways. It is not clear if it is RFC sender or RFC receiver scenario.

If it is sender, then you have to use RFC destination type TCP/IP with Program ID.

It's the sender indeed. What do you mean with Program ID

See this

You may also search for RFC sender config on SDN.

For RFC calls you dont require a RFC destination.
