Executing Interface for file to file transfer

Former Member

We are trying to FTP a text file from one location to another location without converting the file, just passing it through. We have followed the instructions located from the following blog:

/people/william.li/blog/2006/09/08/how-to-send-any-data-even-binary-through-xi-without-using-the-integration-repository

and

http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/FiletofilewithoutusingwithIntegration+Repository

However, how do you execute these interfaces? I know the communication channels have a poll interval, but nothing is showing up in the Monitor of SXMB_MONI. Is there something else I need to do to have these interfaces execute and or something else I need to activate to make sure that it's polling the directories?

Any help would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Dale Dingmann

Hello Praveen,

I do have some errors in the Sender CC, so I will resolve those.

However, how do you activate the file channels you mention?

Thanks,

Hi Dale,

When you FTP the file, right click on the file and check all the boxes. This way u ll give all the rights to ur file. Then try.

Let me know, if that works.

Thanks

Hi,

First of all check the status of sender CC in RWB then

1. Check if Sender Agreement is created properly.

2. Directory should have full permissions

3. File Name should be same in dir and CC.
