Create and Reverse of Profit Center Document

Dear All,

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the t-codes: 1KEL & 9KE0

They both create Profit Center Document. Which is better?

In addition, for Reverse Profit Center Document I prefer to use the 9KED because I can dictate my own reverse date.

Do you see a problem to use the 9KED Instead of reversing with 9KE0 ?

Thanks

Anat

Hi Anat,

You can use both transaction to enter a manual PCA actual document. Transaction 1KEL is the 'old' transaction and Transaction 9KE0 is availabel as of Release 4.6A. Note 372092 explains the difference and restriction in using 9KE0 and 1KEL.

For example, one difference is: With trx. 9KE0 it is not possible to post into period 0 as this period should only be posted by the balance carry forward program 2KES. The old trx. 1KEL does not consider this option and therefore you can manually post into period 0 with trx. 1KEL.

9KED only works for manual postings made with TN 9KE0/1KEL.

Greta
