Basis job SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_STARTUP_DP is failing in system.

Hi Team,

Basis job SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_STARTUP_DP is failing in system with below error. No SM21 alerts and Dumps found in system. Checked in event viewer and background job log file in global directory but could not find any clue.

Below is the error log.

15.02.2010 23:18:44 Step 001 started (program RSAL_BATCH_TOOL_STARTUPDISP, variant , user ID DDIC) 00 550 S

15.02.2010 23:18:57 No alerts in configuration range ME_CCMS_NAK 030 I

15.02.2010 23:19:20 Internal error: UPWB 002 E

15.02.2010 23:19:20 Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE 00 564 A

Has any one come across such issue. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Please see the below SAP note if it is applicable to you..

Also try upgrading your BASIS and APPL patch level...

Let us know your SAP, DB and OS version and patch level...

Hi All,

SAP : ECC 6

Database: SQL Plus 2005

OS: WIndows 2003 Server SP2.

And the note specified is for 640 release and we are running on 700.

Moreover i do not find any dumps related to this.

Please Suggest.

Did you ever find a resolution? Same problem here, except we are on Netweaver 700 on Oracle 10.2

Hello

The error message "No alerts in configuration range"

which is reported in the job log of the background job

SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_STARTUP_DP could be related to inactive CCMS alert

monitoring infrastructure monitor segments.

Please check in the transaction "RZ21>Topology>Segments Overview" if

there are monitor segments reported with the status SHUTDOWN

You can remove these segments by executing the function "RZ21>Technical

Infrastructure>Reorganize segment table" and executed this function with

the default selection.
