Inbound processing and Delivery reciept confirmation using WM

Hi Gurus,

I have a requirement from our project where-in we have to configure "Inbound Processing and Delivery reciept Confirmation using Warehouse Management".

The Inbound delivery is created in the system based on the return material sent by the customer due to the defect in the material.

The process configured in the system is as follows,

1) Complaint is registered by the customer in the CRM system

2) Document replicates into ECC

3) Return sales order is created as a follow up document in ECC

4) An Inbound delivery is created using t code VL01N in ECC and Post Goods Reciept is created

Now finally we have to generate the reciept confirmation from the delivery document,so is this possible from the sales side.

Because we have explored that reciept confirmation can be generated for Purchase orders & production orders.

Secondly if reciept confirmation is not possible then we are thinking of taking a print copy of a Delivery document.

We are planning to take a print copy of a Delibery document using t.code VL75.

Please suggest the output type to be used and any other related settings to be made in the Delivery document.

Hi,

Goods receipt confirmation for PO, PrdOrd mentioned by you isn't based on the material document?

Don't you have any suitable output type for material document? Because receipt means that you posted the GR - if you post the goods receipt with reference to your return delivery (e.g. in VL02N), a material document will be created.

The material document is linked to the return delivery, your delivery to your SO, so you can extract all necessary information.

So ,maybe you can use an existing output type.

But it's difficult ot advise you since we do not know which existing output types you have and what are the exact requirements concerning the document.

So, in my opinion it should be found out by you / your colleagues.

We have resolved this issue by assigning an output type LD00 to the delivery document.
