VC 7.0 - Find Data -> system list is empty suddenly ...

Hello gurus,

We are working with VC 7.0 SP19 and suddenly from yesterday we can't see the systems list in the "Find Data" section.

I've tried to restart the j2ee engine but it didn't solve this !!!

any ideas ?

Hi

Go to the following path

Tools -> Options -> Compiler -> (Check Portal System Folder here). Check whther this is 'pcd:portal_content/com.sap.gm.cnt' or not. Also below there is option as 'Restore defaults' try with that & then check whether you are getting the list or not.

Has there been any change in the authorisation or portal roles,wherein you have the system/super_admin roles removed from your id or any change in the permissions in the system landscape . Also pls check if this happens for others too or is it only for you.

I've checked the roles and stuff but nothing was changed.

Nobody can see the systems so it seems to be a global problem.

Still can't find a way to solve it ...

Hi Dima,

Check created System are available at System landscape under System Administrator>System Configuration in the portal.

yep. the systems are there. but still can't see them from the VC ...

seems like a bug because it has been working before
