What are the various methods in which the process chain can be scheduled to run on daily interval?
One method is to schedule by right click of the RSPC start variant...what are other ways?

The start step of the process chain is just a job, so the methods that you can implement it are the same for any job.
For example:
1) Another job (or meta chain)
2) Event
3) Trigger
4) Schedule in a particular day and hour.
