Text Determination at Sales Order Initial Screen

Dear Gurus,

I want to have the text from the material master at the Initial Screen of Sales Order rather than at Header/Item Level.

Plz. let me know the procedure for the same.

As you know, text from the material master will be copied in sales order @ item level.

confirm, whether you are looking the text at header level / item level?

maintain the text determination in VOTXN,

create condition record in SO10.

test the cycle.

Hi,

Try as follows, in t-code VOTXN under Text ID's in Text procedure select the option "Y:Text will be displyed during copying"

OR "Z:Text is obligatory and is displayed when transferring" for ur text procedure.

Hi,

In transaction code VOTXN, under "Text procedure assignment" please check mark the "Text in overview screen" field to get text in overview screen of the sales order.
