The GUI Elements Screen does not appear.

Hello Team,

I am learning Webdynpro for ABAP and have a few questions.

Can any one tell me what should be done if the GUI Elements screen does not appear in the main window.

I was in the Main window trying to Insert the Componenst of the GUI Elements like table contrrol, Push button, radio button Etc.

I think some software is missing which I need to download and execute.

Pleae tell me what needs to be done.

Hi Deepak,

If you are not able to see the view layout then you can go to tran SICF and check that the service mentioned in above mentioned link is activated or not. Just right click on it and select Activate Service ( if not activated ).

Hi,

When we had the same issue, we reinstalled SAP and the issue got solved.

We were told that some patches were missing in the previous installation.

Try this. Hopefully your problem will be solved.

I can not reinstall this SAP System.

It does not belong to me. It is the Client's system.

any other Solution for this..?

did you also activate service "/default_host/sap/bc/wdvd" in SICF ?
