Hello All,
I would like to have a clarification from all the experts out there.
We already have SAP ECC 6.0 implemented. If we have to implement Extended Warehouse Mangement (EWM) then is it available as a part of ECC 6.0 or we need to take additional SAP license to implement this?
Please confirm.
Best regards.
Sanjay
hi,
for implementing ewm you need a scm-apo server (6.0) for that you need to buy a separte license for that. But if u already implemented scm in our company then there is no need for buy a separte license for that.

If you are speaking about ERP-EWM (essentially containing TRM, Cross Docking, VAS etc) then you dont need any thing else. Depending on the license agreement you have with SAP, you may simply activate SCM components in ECC and start using them.
On the other hand if your intention is to use SCM-EWM then refer to the previous posts.

Hi,
what you need to license separately depends on your existing contract. What do you got? SAP ERP? Business Suite? So the simplest solution is to check with the sales guy responsible for you.
