percentage progressive billing

Dear All,

i am currently working on a Engineering construction industry project.Here the client needs to bill the customer depending upon the progress made in the project every month. The line items has to be billed depending upon the completion of work as per the rates agreed in the contract.

Now we have to get these percentage completion of work from Project system so that we can bill the customer.kindly give me insight to map this scenario.
