Dear sir

pl tell me what are the custmer complaints , which are able to map in the QM SAP SYSTEM.

Best way to handle these scenario in SAP-QM is to Create a Notification in QM01.Std SAP supports the same.

Here irrespective of material bring back to company from vendor you can create the Notification(needless to create Inspection lot every time)

Corrective & preventive action can be clubbed in the same notification with proper workflow.

Hello Baswaraj,

Customer complaints can be maintained in SAP QM module.

1. You have to assign the inspection type 06 to material master.

2. The moment 651 movement (inwarding of customer returns) occurs, it creates one inspection lot of origin 6.

3. Record the defects against this lot through QA11 / QA32

4. Quality notification will automatically be created for this.

5. You can see summarised reports in MCOV, QM15.

Hi Baswa,

You can configure the Notification type of your own as per the process flow of handling the different complaints. As per the process steps you can design your action box. You can utilize the flexibility of SAP Notification here.

e.g.

Z1 Customer Complaint

Z2 Production Complaint

Z3 Online Rejection

Z4 Maint Break-down-QM

Z5 OOS - Internal

Z6 Batch Recall

Z7 Complaint ag. Vendor

Z8 Deviation - Internal
