MDM 7.1 Data Manager Connection Error

I am getting the following error when I try to connect to a new 7.1 repository from my laptop:

The network is disconnected, or the host machine is not running.

The server is running on Windows Server 2008. I am able to connect with the Data Manager when logged onto the server.

Any advice would be appreciated.

May be your connecting wrong server or your Laptop is not properly connected with Internet connection.Please check those things...

If you are able to login to Data Manager means Server is up and running fine...

Hi Mike,

Are you connected to the same domain as the MDM server? Trying pinging the machine. If you get a response Data Manager won't connect.

I am able to connect using the Console from my laptop, so I don't think the network is an issue.
