alias SAP_LocalSystem failed at ITS test

On portal go to system administration->support ->SAP application->SAP transaction

select SAP_LocalSystem in the "system" field

type a txn like su01

The test will fail with the error "unable to parse template ..."

How to debug this?

Hi,

First, ensure your back-end system is integrated with your portal system. for test use below nagivation

System Administration->System Configuration->System Landscape->Expand Portal Content->Expand Content->Expand Systems->right mouse button click on your back-end system->Choose Open->Connection Test->Check if your test will sucessful

If not, you need to first integrate the systems

Secondly (not mandatory), You need to configure SSO between these systems to ensure single authorization.

Thanks for your reply.

For a system alias which is the logical system name of the backend client, the test you recommended is all successful.

However, if above system alias is replace by "SAP_LocalSystem" and nothing else is changed, all tests fail except WAS test is OK.

Would you please test in your system?
