SOD Analysis on Legacy Systems (Microsoft Dynamics-Navision

Hello Everyone

SAP GRC 5.3 provides an option to run Risk analysis on various non-sap based legacy platforms. However, does it include Microsoft Dynamics-Navision systems ?

Can anyone please provide information on it. Thanks

Dinesh,

You can run risk analysis on any legacy system by executing the Data Extraction functionality.

You can find out more about data extraction and the file templates in the AC5.3 Configuration Guide.

GRC RAR can work with any legacy application in offline mode. Here is the whitepaper on how to achieve this:

Hi,

Refer to the guide that Alpesh mentioned.

The key point is to analyze the Security model of the system you want to analyze, develop extractors (following RAR data structure reqs) in order to get all the authorization information from the system, load into RAR by using Data Extractors an run risk analysis.
