Why SAP didn't went for POWL Easy for implementing lists

Hi all,

Standard POWL's in SRM were not implemented using POWL Easy concept. I want to know the reasons why SAP went like this.

POWL easy is the easy way to create POWL feeder classes, All the features of standard POWL are not supported by easy

POWL, Easy POWL applications can be run by standard POWl but not vice versa.

Hi All,

I disagree with the statement above.

I personally think that easy powl is a bit more comfortable in comparison to the regular powls.

The biggest advantage is definitely that you can customize the selection screen and the layout of the hitlist (field catalogue) via transaction powl_easy. You just have to implement the data retrieval method. If desired you can even use shared objects.
