Monitor Expiring Licenses?

Hello,

Is it possible to monitor expiring license from ccms?

I would like to setup an alarm so that before the users gets notified that an SAP license is about to expire, we get notified and can remedy the situation.

In some systems it seems that everyone logging on when a certain time remain of the license, they see a message regarding this.

Hi,

I dont think there is a direct way to monitor the license. But of course, you can get the information about the licenses from the Syslog messages.

In SAP CCMS Monitor TemplatesSyslogSecurity. Here you can find messages as a warning saying your license is going to expire in 30 days or is invalid for 30 days etc. (Certificate with PSE type >SSL Server< has been invalid for 30 days.

Hi,

We use the central autoreaction SAPLicenseMO for all of our systems. It shows in RZ20 as SAPLicense. It doesn't alert until less than a day before expiration, but it has saved us when we forgot to get licenses during database copies and upgrades.
