We are trying to upgrade our SAP GUI for Windows. We are installing SAP GUI Version 7100.4.15.1046. It has the BW 3.5 patch 3571.7.77 and the BW 7.0 patch (based on 7.10) Support Package 10, Patch 1 Release 1568.
We are using IE 7 mostly across the company.
After installation of the above SAP GUI, we are getting problems with IE. IE will work fine until you click a link that opens a new IE window. This will open a window, but no content shows up. It is just a white screen. When we reinstall IE after the SAP GUI install, there are some kind of "MSI" file updates being done. This resolves the issue with IE.
The problem we have is we cannot "distribute" Internet Explorer. We need a version of SAP GUI that does not cause this issue with IE.
Any help would be appreciated.
