component scrap In ECC and relationship to APO

I have been looking at the option of using Component Scrap (In ECC MRP4 screen in Material Master).

Looking in APO I have not been able to find the same item.

I may be missing the point completely but am getting desperate now.

We plan ALL materials in APO and need to be able to increase the procurement proposlas on specific input materials.

Hi,

Assembly or operation scrapwill be reflected in APO as activity scrap but component scrap will be added to component quantity while transfer of PPM. There is no feild in APo showing component scrap%.

The scrap % will be populated to APO and can be displayed in

transaction /sapapo/scc03, under activities in the following

sequence

Activity, description, activity type, activity type description,

Scrap%

Hi,

Though there is no specific feild called component scarp in APO product master. Quantity of components is increased by scrap% while transfer of PPM in APO.

So planning will plan based on this PPM correct quantities.
