Hello,

according to the PAM (Product Availability Matrix) only NetWeaver 7.0 is supported:

SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 ( Application Server ABAP ); SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 ( Application Server Java )

You can find the [PAM|http://service.sap.com/pam] here.

Cheers,

Dominic

In this Weblog it is discussed that the Xi content and the JWS can run on NW 7.1 even though not officially supported.

But the SLL-NFE ABAP addon must run on 7.0 system for now

Has anyone tried to load the Digital signature bean in the PI 7.1 system? The file SAP SLL NFE JWS 1.0 deploys well but I am confused on how to do the configuration steps?

1. Configure service for digital signature

The configuration allows access to the certificate location during the signing process and defines the security for signing messages.

2. Upload certificate for digital signature

The certificate for the signing process as well as the key pair for the identification in the communication with the authorities must be stored in the system where you deployed the EJB for the Web service

The steps llisted for Configure the service for the digital signature do not exist in 7.1?

You must assign the code-based permission XiSecurityRuntimePermission in the Enterprise Java Bean (EJB) for the digital signature to allow authorized access to the certificate in the communication process for signing messages. You grant this permission in the Visual Administrator of the J2EE Engine under Security Provider Service.

On tab page Protection Domains , you can select the domain of the digital signature service for SAP NFE under sap.com grcnfedsig .

By selecting EJBContaine applicationjars , you can select the bean entry sap.comgrcnfedsigdsigbean.jar and switch to edit mode for granting the XiSecurityRuntimePermission permission to the domain.

There is no visual admin in PI 7.1.... and I do not know where the Security provider service resides in the NWA.

Any ideas.
