a very fast question:
for export my data from Visual Composer application in a PDF file is necessary to have BI in EP installation?
yes or not?
if not....then ...why?
i read this document but it's not explained it:
thanks
Alex
Hi
Not necessary. There is simple work around. You just need to download 'PDF Converter' & you need to use 'Prnit Command' from 'System Action' inside VC. THis will open the Printer menu, select the PDF coverter & then print the Vc model.

Hi,
Yes,
Follow the steps for PDF without BI Component
1. Download PDF convertor on your machine.
2. Create one button 'Convert to PDF' in your VC model.
3. IN this button assign system command as 'Print'
4. Save & Execute the model.
After execution when you will click on this button, it will open normal print pop up window. Here you will find PDF convertor. Select this & Convert to PDF.
Hope this will help you.

If anyone is having idea please respond.

The document you specified relies on web api which is based on the underlying BI functionality and also Bex too.
So I guess you need a BI java instance for that .
