HTTP plugin is not active

Dear all,

During the execution of tcode OAAD system also guide to attach pic with emp# but , when i attach pic and execute it the then system put the message HTTP Plug is not active in Qaulity server .and DEV & Production is working fine.

NOTE: 3 instances (DEV, BW(dev), QA) are installed in Same server

Check ContentServer service under /default_host/sap/bc/. Is it activated ?

Hi,

Check HTTP port Status. SMICM -> Services(Shift+F1).

The list of services must contain a port other than 0 for HTTP.

Also check icm/server_port_0 = PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$ in the instance profile.

i have checked HTTP port Status is running .

and SMICM -> Services(Shift+F1). kindly check below info

Active Services

2 HTTPS 1443 SAPDEVQA 30 60

And also i have checked the instance profile Quality Server.

icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP,PORT=8000,EXTBIND=1

i am getting issue in Quality server

and also i had checked in Deverlopment server instance profile parameter

icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP,PORT=8000

ms/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP,PORT=81$$

Development server is working fine .i didnt get any issue .

NOTE: Development , BIW(DEV) and Quality server are in Same server (3 inst are installed in 1 server).

kindly advise me.

Hi,

Please specify icm/server_port_0 PROT=HTTP,PORT=80$$ in the Quality Server's Instance Profile.

And Restart the Quality Instance.

The variable $$ is replaced by the instance number of the installed Instance on the Host.

your HTTP ports MUST be different between your instance, this is why Bhavik is suggesting to use the system number as part of port numbers.

Sorry for writing in this post after so many years but i found out this during my research. I wanted to ask you how can i change the service name port from being 0
This are my services :

                    Service Name/Port        
1  HTTP               0                   *****.localdomain         60         60

2  SMTP               0                    *****.localdomain        120        120

I hope you can help me.
