SOAP Runtime exception

Hi all,

I have problem with webservices in ECC 5.0, only ABAP stack on Windows, Oracle.

This is error in sm21,

SOAP Runtime: SOAP Runtime exception: 112 occurred in method XP_READ_TAG of class CL_SOAP_XP at position 1

SOAP Runtime: Exception message: no extended error message (SOAP_ESERVER)

dev_rfc:

ERROR 23:59:02: SOAP Runtime CL_SOAP_RUNTIME_ROOT->EXECUTE

_PROCESSING() A SOAP Runtime Core Exception occurred in method

XP_READ_TAG of class CL_SOAP_XP at position id 1 with internal

error id 112 and error text no extended error message

(SOAP_ESERVER) (fault location is 1 ).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi shyam,

Thanks for you help.

I had checked the link that you had sent me,

Both the sap note and the link refer to a specific error "can not read XML data stream",

however in my case the error message itself is not showing.

Any suggestions.

Hi Vinod,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

However, the note you have mentioned specifically talks about an error 'can not read XML data stream'.

However in my case, it says that 'no extended error message'.

Will try and implement the note also.

Hi Vinod,

Upgrading the support pack did not help. As per the note I have upgraded the basis support pack level to 22.

The error is still there.

Any more suggestions.
