Dear Gurus,

We have a strange problem on our sap system, running on Windows. Every day, we checked all housekeeping schedule on db13 such as online backup, checkDb, update stats, etc finished successful, show all green on monthly list.

But, if we choose to display back a few weeks, the color of today housekeeping (which is green before) it turns red with message Schedulling Failed.

Then, I turn back the monthly display for today, It color return to green.

How strange..

Please Help

Kind regards,

May

What is your SAP version an patch level?

There are a lot of known bugs of DB13 in certain patch levels.

You might try if you get better results with DB13OLD.

Dear Joe,

Thanks for your respond. We're using SAP ECC 6.0.

Is it really a bug? Because, after using for almost 2 years, the problem started couple months ago, not before.

We consider to use DB13 rather than DB13OLD, because it provides more complete report.

Thx alot..

Hello Maya,

you didn't answer my question regarding patch level.

Actually I don't know if it really is a bug. And I have never seen this behaviour myself.

But I do know that there are bugs, and increasing the patch level might help.

Did you change anything in your system before problems began, like an upgrade or applying patches?

Another thing you could try: Delete all those jobs from DB13, and reschedule from scratch.

regards

PS:

In addition to deleting from DB13, also make sure jobs are deleted from SM37.

Dear Joe,

The patch level is 144. I've do nothing before, it's just came out.

I'm considering your advice to scratch the schedule then rebuild again.

Thx alot..
