Hi I have installed Java stack. Can I also install abap and take advantages of it? Any one had tried it?
Any idea whether it will work .
Java will work w/o problem...
George
Hi George, you can have a separate ABAP system on the same box. I have successfully installed both sneak previews on my laptop, but I had to install the ABAP stack first, then the java stack. I tried it the other way around, and the ABAP installation failed.
Suggestion: Uninstall the java stack. Install ABAP stack. Re-intall java stack.
This worked for me!

Hi George,
Are all the processes up and running in the SAP MMC? You
can check if the J2EE is up using the link
http://<server>:<port>/index.html.

Hi
First install ABAP Stack then install JAVA stack. During installation, please give the proper instance, if you are going for exiting one.
