Hi George, you can have a separate ABAP system on the same box. I have successfully installed both sneak previews on my laptop, but I had to install the ABAP stack first, then the java stack. I tried it the other way around, and the ABAP installation failed.

Suggestion: Uninstall the java stack. Install ABAP stack. Re-intall java stack.

This worked for me!

Hello, i have installed the abap stack on my laptop then i tried to install the java stack, but i can´t install the java stack. it continuously sends the next message

+INFO[E] 2007-01-11 12:18:54

FSL-02077 File system export (share) saploc does not exist.

ERROR 2007-01-11 12:18:55

Can you please tell me how do you correct this error.

I´m using version SAP NetWeaver 04s for the abap stack and SAP NetWeaver 04 SP16 for the java stack.

Thanks in advance.

Hi George,

Are all the processes up and running in the SAP MMC? You

can check if the J2EE is up using the link

http://<server>:<port>/index.html.

Hi

First install ABAP Stack then install JAVA stack. During installation, please give the proper instance, if you are going for exiting one.
