Mass Deactivation of Reference Data?

Is there a way to do a mass deactivation of reference data values that were imported by mistake?

Company Codes, Plants, etc

If this was done via workbook, add a column labeled INACTIVE and set to TRUE for all the entries you want to remove.

They were loaded as XML files with Data Import Monitor job.

Should I be able to export the current values and do the same? Or do you ONLY have such an option if you loaded via spreadsheet.

I believe you should be able to do the same with the XML.
