Problem with BI Fronend tools 700 (SAPGUI 7.1 )

Hi

I have installed BI Frontend 700 tools along with SAPGUI 7.1. When i run the check tool C:\Program Files\Common Files\SAP Shared\BW\sapbexc.xla I am getting two errors:

1. No BW frontend Installed

2. MapObjects.MemFile.1 not registered

Rest all the files show Green. When we use any of the Bex tools all the ICONS are grayed out.

How can I resolve these two errors. Have any one come across these errors?

Yes I have .NET Framework SP2 installed on the desktop

Hello,

did you check if BW Front End is installed? Even if you ran the installation, the prerequisit for it is .NET Framework 2.0 and if it's not present, BW will not install, but no error message is reported.
