SD-BI question

Hi!

I'm a SD consultant and fairly new to the BI concept.

As a first timer on a SD-Bi project, I'm seeking some basic information as follows:

we intend to receive some data from BI to SD. So my questions are :

How's data received from BI to SD ? (ih which way : Idoc, BApi , RFC ,flat files or some other ?).

If any or all of these is possible is there a defined best practise?

Is this data temporarily stored in SAP ?

What is a best practise in such cases when sales order is to be made on the basis of the data coming from BI? (idoc/bapi? or other ?)

If inbound idoc should be used is it Orders05 or ordersad?What is the difference?

I appreciate all inputs from the experts on this Forum.
