No visual/Config pop-up

Hi

i am unable to open visual or config (no pop-up), what could be the reason ?

Environment is Linux/Oracle..I am using VNC to connect to this.

HI Rajesh,

Check your 'DISPLAY' environment variable settings,

1)echo $DISPLAY

it should be like <IP address of your desktop>:<session ID>.<session ID>

eg: 1.1.1.1:1.0

2) if this properly set, try executing 'xclock' command

1. xclock

it should open you a clock pop.

3) if you are getting any pop, even of setting the display parameter, then the problem is with tool u are using to conenct to the server. Use the tool that support xwindows.

VNC is just to login to a remote desktop, but how do you connect to the SAP server??

Have you checked which shell are you working and have you checked the DISPLAY parameter @Linux for the display
