Dear Friends,
We have configured the Service Desk & we can also raise the OSS message through support message.
But what are the advantages of Using Support message for raising OSS message, instead of raising it directly from service.sap.com market place.

Hi,
This is mainly a user friendly facitlity provided by 'SAP. When you are dealing with any issue though your customer Service desk and you feel that to find the solution for the problem is out of your hand, u can create a message with SAP referring all the analysis done internally. There you dont need to login to SMP and create a message.
Also, this one picks up all the necessary details about your affected system automatically. Like, SID, components, package levels etc.
