Change in Sales Order

Hi Gurus,

While changing the Material or Plant and while deleting an item it is showing a message" For Cost Management changes cannot be done"

How to resolve this issue?

Hi Buss,

For resolving the issue, please follow the steps given below.

Go to T-code OVAH --> V4 - 140 ---> Change this message from Error (E) to Warning (W).

Hope this helps.

we recently had a similar issue that resulted in the same error message. Our issue was caused when a new material was enterred on sales orders then the material type was "partially" changed from a KMAT to a FERT. our materials group failed to remove the "item is configurable" check box in the material master. This left several inconsistancies within the sales orders. After debugging the message number V1128, we had to change message V4 210 to a warning in OVAH.

I just wantted to pass this on in case this issue has affected someone else and the resolution of changing V4 140 to a warning in OVAH did not provide a solution.

Try entering reason of rejection at item and then delete.

It is a Information Message.

For reasons of cost management, item 000010 cannot be deleted

Message no. V1128

Diagnosis

You tried to delete a sales document item for which cost management is carried out. Cost management can exist at item level for

- make-to-order production

- make-to-order stock

- service contract item

Procedure

Enter a reason for rejection at item level.
