Web Service Metadata destination Error

Hi,

To give a background, I am trying to consume a PI created Web Service in my WD application. At first, I ran into authorization issues so I tried to create a metadata destintion for it in the visual admin. After configuring it, I still ran into this issue:

Exception on creation of service metadata for WS metadata destination .... and WS interface ' .... ' One possible reason is that the metadata destination .... has not been properly configured; check configuration.

I rechecked Visual Admin, and I already have the Metadata destination configured so I'm kind of stuck as to how to resolve this issue.

Would anyone have other possible workarounds on this?

There was something wrong in the URL Connection String of the Metadata Destination. It should point to the WSDL location.

Yes. I believe we always have a daily restart of the portal servers, and this was done before the restart.

Did you creat dynamic webservice destination , along with autnentacation type as user id and password.
