deletion of background job

Hi

Experts

already some one secheduled Standard Background jobs..in his User ID...now that ID was deleted..

now i scheduled Standard background job in DDIC and Client 000..i want to delete cancelled jobs which he scheduled..in Production...How??

Go to TA-> SM37

In field

Jobname : give that standard job name.

Username : His username

Press F8 (execute)

you'll get the list of the jobs .

Select the one you need and click on menubar Job ->delete

Look for the released jobs in his name and delete it. IF you delete the released job its permanently deleted.

Logon to 000 client and DDIC user ID.

Go to SM37 select whatever job you dont want then go to manu bar click job and delete..it permentely deteled.

and see background job entry table.and conform

Do you mean that you want to delete:

- Permanently --> As in forever.

- Prematurely --> As in too early.

- Paramentaly --> As in really crazy and most likely very stupid.

- Parachutingly --> As in no idea, but try it anyway to see what happens.

- Parallely --> As in ponits arrays and then guestifying the duplicate entries.

In order to do that , you have to delete scheduled job too.You can select the job in above procedure,

but before pressing F8(execute) ,select the checkbox scheduled in job status. then press F8 .

you 'll find job in scheduled ,released state . delete the job in scheduled , released states.

You should be able to do it from SM37 -> select Username- select cancelled -> and then delete.
