When an approver looks at a request; he or she has to option to put the reqeust on hold. What is the purpose of puting a request on hold.
We currently have escalation set at 3 days; but some approvers complain that they are still trying to determine whether a role should be approved. Will putting a request on hold delay escalation?
Thank you for the help.
In SAP Help it says "The ability to place an access request on hold is a configuration option." Do you happen to know where this can be configured?

Ryan,
Putting a request on HOLD will not delay escalation.
Thanks!
