How to uninstall NW2004 2 part question?

Hi,

we have an older NW2004 system and we installed on the ABAP CI an JAVA ADD-on that we are not using. I would like to know if there is an documented SAP way to take the JAVA section out.

In 2004s the sapinst offers the option on uninstall instances etc. In the NW2004 not such a thing, so the second part of my question is, how to uninstall a ABAP section without the stop and rm.

We are on AIX 6.1, DB2 as DB. Appreciate any feedback and useful links to SAP documentation. Normal OSS support pointed me to the instguides, which are working for 2004s, but I could not find anything for 2004.
