No plan exists for in-house production source of supply (- product number)

Hi All,

I have done CIF of PDS for one sample material into APO. When I check /SAPAPO/CTMMSEL - Master Data Selection t-code for this Product code i get error message " No plan exists for in-house production source of supply ..."

In Inhouse production tab PDS is visible under the column Source of Supply.

Pl.let me know where i'm going wrong ? I need to do CTM Run for this material.

Hi Dev,

There could be many reasons for the error that you got

Please check out the following

1) Check PDS is available for the components of the material as well

that you have selected. If not, maintain the same and retry

(use transaction /SAPAPO/CURTO_SIMU for the same.

2) Check all the components are in active model and maintained

properly including the finished product

Please check and confirm

I have checked PDS in transaction code : /SAPAPO/CURTO_SIMU & it's visible there.

Material codes are in Active version.

I have a doubt. In routing of this Material in R/3 two operations are with control Key PP02 - External operations.

In APO - PDS these operations are visible.If external operations are causing Error while CTM Run ?

For other materials with PPM, CTM Run is not giving any error.

How i can check my PDS is correct ?

Hi,

I hope your PDS is in active status. Please try to run the report RAPOKZFX in R/3 with the data like your concerned material and location (plant). This should tell you if there is any inconsistencie.

Hi All,

i have CIfed PP/DS PPM & then convereted them in SNP PPM. Using SNP PPM i'm running CTM.

I like to know if PDS can be used for CTM Run ? i have to use any BADI for this.

It's not possible. CTM only accepts SNP/CTM PDS.

Are you able to view the PDS via T code: /SAPAPO/CURTO_SIMU - Display Production Data Structures

if not, you havnt cifed the PDS to APO.
