Automatic Email of Billing document output to customer

Dear All,

We have following requirement @ our client. You valuable inputs will be very helpfull.

Currently output (RD00) are taken via printout and later scanned and sent to customer.

Now client wants following requirement , where in once the billing documents are generated, output should be sent to customer automatically via EMAIL (mentioned in the customer master : contact person).

I kindly request you to help me with steps required to configure this scenario in SAP.

Hi

For the output type RD00, Maintain the medium SIMPLE MAIL

then maintain condition record for output in VV31

Speciefy medium as 7 and in communication method mention email id to whom u want to send

As soon as you save billing document system will send the email to party.

Dear

First u maintain the output type MAIL in VV31 ( in nace transaction code,select billing and then output type as mail ,if necessary copy adn rename as u required )and then assign to the billing document type and partner functions and then maintain the customer mail id in this transaction,and also ensure the same mail ID will be maintained in the customer master data also.

When u create invoice along with RD00 the MAIL output also will appear and automatically it will trigger to the customer mail ID for the invoice output.

Please check and revert for any clarifications.

Hi

Use medium -External send and it should go. If not, take the help of Basis to get the setting done.

Mail communication has to be configured & logic should provide to read the email ID of the Contact person from the respective customer master ( eg: Sold to OR payer) .
