How to syndicate multiple remote keys

Dear Experts,

Is it possible to syndicate all the remote key in one syndication.

After match & merge activity, multiple records are got merged into one.

But now any changes in the merged record should update all the records which was merged.

Is that possible?

Hi Shailesh,

Instead of Syndicator, you can use the Export functionality of MDM Data Manager for exporting multiple remote keys of same remote system to Access, Excel or a Text file.

For exporting remote keys using Data Manager perform the steps below:

1. Select File Menu> Export to> (File Type)

2. Inorder to include Remote System and Remote Key select Remote system details in Fields tab.

3. Select the fields, remote system and remote key from available fields to fields to export.

4. Execute!!

This will export all remote keys available for all remote systems.

This is a manual process and the configuration cannot be saved, hence this cannot be automated. Also we cannot export records to XML file using this method.

Hello Shailesh.

Yes, it possible, syndicate all remote keys ikn one syndication

in Syndication manager you should set more than one remote system in

"Output remote systems" property in "Map properties" Tab

Your suggestion will work for different remote systems.

Here the case is of merging records which belongs to same remote system.

Means there are multiple remote keys for same remote system.

Out of those keys, one we can mark as default which will be syndicated.

But we want to syndicate all those keys for same remote system.

Yes... you can syndicate all Remote Keys of one Remote System at one time.

(I am on MDM 5.5.64.71 Version )

After matching and merging u can able to send the respective value based on the remote key...

Dear Yugandhar,

After merging two or more records, MDM automatically assigns multiple remote kays for the resulting records.

Hence there will be multiple remote kays for same remote system.
