Dear Gurus
In delivery item category we have three options for Availabulity check off
1.Check availability
2. Do not check availability
3.Do not check availability check when reporting result of Pick request.
I want to undersatnd the usage of third. If it allows to pick all, any way there will be a problem in goods issue. So what is the use of these.
I am getting error at the time of time of transfer order confirmation-Item 900001: Only 0,000 KG of material 0000000100 are available. Message no. VL 198"
When I change it from 1 to 3, I can proceed.
Looking for your expert advise.
Regards,
Neeraj Srivastava
Hi Neeraj Srivastava,
when you have scenario delivery quantity is always picked correctly without any difference and always there is sufficient
quantity exists. Then this setting will be used

The third key is to facilitate more practical scenarios in pick for delivery. If the Transfer Order is reporting a quantity picked for delivery which could be more or less than the required quantity then why bother doing a system availability durint TO confirmation.
The idea here is to give the warehouse more control on the stock allocation instead of the delivery document. For example setting up this key will cater to your over-deliveries during TO confirmation particularly if your materials are batch managed.
