Use of solution manager

Please let me know if use of SAP solution manager now mandatory for new SAP APO implementation projects.

Hello,

The SAP Solution Manager is not mandatory if you want to make an APO implementation project, but you should use the SAP Solution Manager project management in order to profit later from the SAP support. If all is documented in the project it is more easy for SAP to make support if there are problems. SAP has a lot of services to support you during the life cycle of your project. You can also use the Quality Gate Management, Issue Management and other functionalities within SAP Solution Manager.

Hi deeparai,

Usage depends upon the client decision, if the client has already

some tool wherein if he is able to manage, then configuration

of solution manager may not be required
