Whys is budget able to be less than annual actual

Users are now able to return budget, so that the annual budget is less than the nominated annual actual.

eg

budget actual

2009 10K 15K

2010 20K 20K

Overall 35K 35K

The availability control is set at overall, however I have been told in previous versions (eg 4.6) - the system did not allow the annual budget to be less than the annual actual.

The system still does not allow you to have less budget at overall than the overall actual - it is the financial years that is being queried.

Note that we have always had avail control on at overall since version 3.1 - we are currently at SAP ERP 6.

if you check overall for AVAC then this is correct behaviour

if you want to check annually then untick the overall indicator
