Asterisks are showing in the fields of a sales order

Hello Guru's I have this situation where asterisks show up on a lsaes order in the line item fields....you can type in the material number and such but you can not see as it keeps the asterisks...how do I get rid of this from happening...it does not happen to all users just a few...I am thinking it is a user setting or maybe authorization...not sure...never seen this happen before...if you can advise...it would be greatly appreciated...

Hi,

Default value would have been set for paticular user,

Check with your Basis consultant, check any default parameter is maintained in SU02

Also check default value in transaction variant in the t.code SHD0 (SHD zero)
