IDOC Inbound in Backend RBDAPP01 also uses dialog processes

Hi everybody,

we are sending a large number of huge IDOCs to R/3. As the agents have to work and not to disturb them we use RBDAPP01.

But RBDAPP01 is not just using backround workprocessed also dialog workprocesses are used. So the agents do not have any dialog.

What are we doing wrong?

Thanks

Regards

mario

Try to reserve the dialog for the user by executing RSARFCLD program from SA38.

The input "Number of dialog WPs wait" is to reserve the number of dialog WP for user. The default, I think is low. Try to set a bit higher (depends on the load of your system for a dialog wp). In mine, now I set at least 5 dialog WP reserve for each application server. So wit this setting, the RBDAPP01 will not use all of your dialog WP.

Hi,

>>>What are we doing wrong?

you should specify Parallel IDoc Inbound Processing in the Background

and on the second tab the server group which contains only server/s that are not used by dialog users

there is no other way
