Creating an alias for Web dynpro java application

Hi to all

I am trying to find a way to create an alias for a web dynpro application.

This shoudl enable me to do the following:

- Go to a link of the form www.myhost.com/carrental/ and access a normal web dynpro application of the form www.myhost.com/webdynpro/dispatcher/.

I know that this can be done via an EJB app (via the descriptor) but i am not sure how to do this in Web Dynpro Java.

Please help.

HI,

If you are running this WD in SAP portal then you can create an iView from the WD App, then assign the iView to a page. Then you can create a short URL for the page. This short url will be the alias.
